Recommended Good English Books for Geomancy

Apologizes for the strange English as I hail from a strange part of Asia where we learn and mangled English in Primary school.

The following are recommended reading materials for Xuan Kong Flying Stars fans who have serious problems with Mandarin.

Xuan Kong Flying Stars Feng Shui - An introduction to Flying Stars Feng Shui by Joey Yap
An excellent book to get started on the basis of Xuan Kong Flying Stars.

Feng Shui for Apartment Buyers - Home Owners by Joey Yap
Auditing apartments is not easy for many souls. Many classical books present numerous case studies on houses and graves. The modern apartment gets scant treatment other than the usual 'split units within a larger house'. One has to draw on experience and case studies to verify various 'theories' when attempting to apply flying stars on apartment units. This book makes some important assertions and force readers to put on the thinking cap e.g. facing, importance of main lobbies, move-in dates etc.

A Master Course in Feng-Shui by Eva Wong
A good cookbook (read cook book) for the serious Flying Stars fans. It covers many materials regarding Flying Stars (or at least Ms Wong's lineage). For the beginner, it is a tedious and exhausting book. You certainly need to have some understanding on various Chinese metaphysical systems to appreciate certain chapters. The chapter on Conditional Interactions assumes He-Tu knowledge.

Feng Shui Demystified: A Comparative Compendium on Flying Star Feng Shui and The Eight Mansion Formula by Ulrich Wilhelm Lippelt

Feng Shui Demystified II: A Comprehensive Course on Flying Star Feng Shui and Famous Water Formulae by Ulrich Wilhelm Lippelt

Mr Lippelt writes a two good books for readers with an intermediate knowledge of Flying Stars. He shares many of his insights and interesting questions with the readers. You may not agree with all his conclusions but they present a new level of critical depth. However the first book has scant information regarding Eight Mansions. Book II seems like a rehash of Book 1 but presents many cook book information of various Water Formulae.

How do you get them?
If you are in America, go to www.amazon.com and Eva Wong's book may be purchased from Kinokuniya. Mr Lippelt's books are sadly unavailable in Singapore but you can place an order with Amazon.
