A useful function of my beta Bazi application

Here we have another chart that highlights the interactions feature of the Bazi app.

We note the successful combination and resultant fire element due to the app's showing the interactions in the natal chart.

From the addition information from the combinations, we can conclude that wood and water and the favourable elements of this chart.  Note the app showed the Wu-Wu earth branch self penalty for month and year.

Blending Bazi and Zi Wei ......

 

Charts preferably should be analysed using simple standard methods, avoiding the need to use obscure or complex convolutions.

 

Blending methods may be useful in some cases as it offer interesting insights.  The ends may sometimes justify the means of using different methods.

In this chart, we can see that the subject at hand does possess some natal talent, birth year Hua Lu Ju Men in Self palace...

 

Can it be unlocked despite the weakness in the Self palace?

 

Now let us use Bazi as a short cut for clues......any bazi old hands will notice the three sets of strong pillars after age 40.....

Beta Bilingual Bazi application for Windows

Most modern Bazi application usually have no problems plotting the entire 100 years' worth of stems and branches and must take into consideration the 24 Jie Qi timing and cutover, that is expected of any Bazi application.

The more tricky part is the combinations.

After completing the Zi Wei and Qi Men Dun Jia apps, there is time to complete the Bazi app now.

In this beta release, the natal combinations is almost completed and debugged.

 

For example, in this chart, we have the 3 combinations but the resultant element cannot be formed due to lack of seasonal support, hence the app is smart enough to highlight the residual interaction between the year and month branch.  The low lying fruits have been picked, the next three features will be the 'horrors of horrors'.

1. Combinations between hidden stems - drawing interactions is a killer
2. Combinations resulting from annual year, month, day and hour pillars.
3. Combinations resulting from 10 year pillar.

New feature for Zi Wei Si Hua Flying Stars software

Well most websites and books use 'zheng yue' 正月 and to deviate from this term will be hmmh, rebellious.

So I amended the labels and called it 'Lunar mth 1,'.  After some QA checks, it will be released to registered users.

My legacy apps and launching Qi Men Dun Jia software !

I was looking through the old screen captures and this caught my attention.

It is the old Qi Men Dun Jia app for the Windows Mobile platform.  It sure looks clunky but is immensely useful on a iPaq.

As the years passed, the iPaq ages and finally one day, the screen cracked.  I bought a replacement screen and managed to extend its unnatural life span.  Alas the replacement screen died after a few weeks. A replacement must be found, Windows Phone 7 to the rescue.  Detractors may have a lot to say about Phone 7 but the Visual Studio IDE is certainly top notch.

 

 



 

 

Times flies again and the Law of Physics strikes again, the old trusty Phone 7 phone went berserk and hangs for no apparent reason......happily a nobleman loan an old Android phone and the great porting exercise begin.   After a few nights, this is what I ended up.

Finally what comes around, goes around, back to the desktop and laptop family again.

We seems to go round and round in circles ?!
