Today I added another 6 minor stars to the Zi Wei software! This should be the last few addition as I am running out of real estate on the application
They are 4 starts from the Bo Shi series, Da Hao 大耗, Xiao Hao 小耗, Bing Fu 病符 and Guan Fu 官府.
The fifth and sixth star is Tian Ku 天哭 and Tian Xu 天虚
Happy charting!
For the sake of making life a bit tougher for the competition, I have upgraded the Si Hua Zi Wei app to version 2, just kidding 8)
I wanted to thank the early adopters of my software, Si Hua Zi Wei and Bazi/Qi Men. Hence I am giving this free update to my customers.
One of the new enhancement is the aspects' relationship. From the screen capture, we can rapidly infer that the aspect siblings is parents' spouse e.g. mother. This is a boon for rapid aspects transformation.
I have added support for the minor stars. However please take note that they are rarely used in the Si Hua variant and I have inserted them to keep up with present research bias.
Well I wanted to include 108 stars but I decided against that as there is simply insufficient screen estate. That is life, you win some, you lose some.
The upgrade will be split into 2 phases. More details will be given out via email.
Happy New Year.
There are some free updates planning for 2 applications, mainly 64 Hexagrams Qi Men Dun Jia and Zi Wei Flying Stars. I have skipped the Winter Solstice release to improve the User Interface of the app.
The new feature allows San Yuan Date Selection filtering by house. Previously the filtering is day master concentric, meaning you can only filter dates by owner's birth date before house sitting. Now you are able to filter dates by house sitting before owner's birth date.
In addition, I added tool tips for the 9 Palaces Qi Men Dun Jia formations for the English speaking community.
At the first glance, you will know that 玉女守门 is known as 'Jade Daughter at the gate'. In addition, I fixed the UI bug for the Flying Palace feature in this release.
To make life difficult for the rest, I have added 4 different methods of plotting hour school 9 Palaces Qi Men Dun Jia in this release 8)
Serious Qi Men Dun Jia fans should be familiar and understand both Zhi Lun 直润 or Chai Bu拆补 methods to determine the Ju.
It is easier to implement Chai Bu拆补 then Zhi Lun 直润 in computer code.
In addition, most Zhi Run users hail from the Taiwanese group, a historical baggage from the 1949 Chinese Civil War.
If you have any enquiries about the software, the retail price is SGD520.00 for this software that implements, at least 3 date selection systems, in a single app.
Contact zwdsflying@yahoo.com for retail or academy enquires.
I have just release the update for the Si Hua Zi Wei application.
The new time saving feature is called San Fang.
I provided a screen capture of how San Fang will be displayed and this layout has flexibility compared to the traditional format.
It allows you to set the San Fang in any palace.
If you are utterly confused by all the Hua Ji, Hua Lu lines criss-crossing across a Si Hua chart, you are probably not alone.
I will strongly recommend Master Lilian Heng's Flying Stars Si Hua English course as it is carefully calibrated to guide a newbie into the interesting domain of Si Hua Zi Wei Duo Shu.
In addition, the instructor has good experience from reading charts at a professional level and is very keen in metaphysics.
Hence her course is the unique synthesis of practical experience and theoretical Zi Wei concepts. There will be useful discussions on problems and resolution from the Si Hua perspective.
Highly recommended course if you are in sunny Singapore! The basic course starts this weekend.
Optional Si Hua Zi Wei bilingual software in action for fast and efficient charting analysis!!
I have implemented the Twin's function to make life easier for the app's users.
This feature is useful for analyzing twins' chart.
Please read the manual for more information.
An email will be sent out for the registered users.
If you are interested in Si Hua Zi Wei, do not know where to start or are confused by the various 'free information', kindly pursue the recommended courses below.
The instructor reads destiny charts on a professional basis and will be most happy to able to share her findings with students.

The latest changes introduces Zhi Run 直闰 method of Ju determination.
Intercalation, if you prefer.
As usual, online, I will refrain from commenting which method, Chai Bu or Zhi Run is better, but we can have a private discussion if you happen to bump into me.
In addition, the printing has been enhanced, you can now see all the inauspicious and auspicious formations in the relevant sectors in a nice report, in Chinese and English text.
From the report, we know 5AM, in the wee hours of the early morning will be a dodgy time.
The translation, well they still send some cold shivers down a language purist's spine.
