I can answer this question. Annual stars are main stay of San He Zi Wei. Annual stars are rarely used in Si Hua or in fact .... never unless an enterprising bloke decides to mesh both systems and create a new form of Zi Wei Duo Shu, perhaps Sima Yi's Zi Wei Duo Shu.
In essence, we compare apples with apples, not Si Hua vs San He. Therefore this software is complete with respect to Si Hua but in the eyes of the San He purist, there are missing gaps.

Why is your application better than the free apps?
The application below, unofficially known as 斗转星移 is not a wall paper or a leisure magazine charting app.
1. The lunar calendar is competent and stretches all the way from 1900-2100. In fact I am hesitant to release another astronomical lunar calendar version beyond 2100 AD.
2. The heaven, earth and human plates are displayed prominently for efficiency. There are 2 versions of Dou Jun, standard Si Hua and Type R provided to keep Zi Wei analyst busy.
3. Si Hua interactions are shown intelligently. In fact, a basic version of Si Hua Chessworks are incorporated if you stare at the screen capture above carefully.
4. Palace interchange is a key feature of the app. I just throw in the palace hints for free and that proves I am not an evil capitalist. Proto capitalist, perhaps.
5. Twins' charting is a breeze, one click only, not one night only.
There are more features and the retail price is a bargain - SGD220.00 and soon to be SGD250.00! Now I understand why my Hong Kong and Taiwanese buddies up north sell their software for SGD$500.00
